Joseph Elmore Jr.

Award winning writer/Director Joseph A. Elmore Jr. was born and raised in Buffalo, New York where he graduated from Canisius College - one of 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the nation. Joseph began his film career as a screenwriter. His first feature was the award winning Docu-Drama Water's Rising, released on DVD in April, 2007. His next effort The Trunk is currently in pre-production with Melee Entertainment (Friday, You Got Served) and starring Columbus Short (Stomp the Yard, Quarantine), Thomas Kretschmann (Wanted, The Pianist, King Kong) and Brian White (Stomp the Yard, The Game Plan, 12 Rounds).

His next writing & directing effort was the romantic comedy Speed Dating which is currently in limited theatrical release with Chris Elliot (There’s Something About Mary, Nutty Professor II: The Klumps), Clint Howard (Night at the Museum, Frost/Nixon, & Halloween), and Holly Robinson (21 Jump Street, Love Inc, Matter of Life and Dating) featured. Speed-Dating took the 2010 audience choice award in the Pan African Film Festival.
